This policy explains how our charity uses the personal data we collect from you.
What Data do we collect?
Our organisation collects the following data:
- Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number etc.)
- Information about your requirements, qualifications and experience relevant to your interaction with us as a client, coach, volunteer or supplier.
How do we collect your data?
You provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Complete and submit an online application form on our website.
- View our website via your browser’s cookies
- Contact us in other ways, for example by email or telephone, and provide us with data in connection with volunteering or client activities.
We may also receive data from partner organisations, for example where we are providing coaching to people who are members of such an organisation.
How do we use your data?
We collect your data so that we can:
- Contact you about your use of our organisation as a client, volunteer, coach or partner.
- Endeavour to match coaches and clients according to experience and requirements
- Contact you about any Continuing Professional Development (CPD) we offer you and more generally about the work of Queen Bee Coaching, including Queen Bee Connect.
How Do We Store Your Data?
Your data is kept on a Google drive accessible only to specific volunteers or people carrying out paid work for us who need to be able to access it in order to provide our services.
We will keep your data while you remain associated with Queen Bee Coaching. We will keep it for a minimum amount of time after you leave. We retain data about our former coaches and clients for statistical purposes, but this is anonymised and does not include your personal data.
Marketing
Queen Bee Coaching does not collect or share data for marketing purposes.
What are your data protection rights?
Queen Bee Coaching would like to make sure you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access: You have the right to request our organisation for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
- The right to rectification: You have the right to request our organisation correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request our organisation complete any information you believe is incomplete.
- The right to erasure: You have the right to request that our organisation erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that our organisation restricts the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to object to processing: You have the right to object to our organisation processing your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to data portability: You have the right to request that our organisation transfer the data we have collected to another organisation, or direct to you, under certain conditions.

Cookies
Cookies are small files of letters and numbers that are stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies are necessary to, for example, help our website to remember you and your preferences and store booking details. You can decline optional cookies that, for example, track visitors to our website.
From time to time, we may display on our website links to other, external organisations. QBC is not responsible for data collection or cookie management on other websites.

The date of this policy is March 2025, and the version number is 1. We may update this policy from time to time but it will always have a date and a sequential version number.
