What is Queen Bee Connect?
As an integral part of QBC, Queen Bee Connect creates spaces where clients, coaches, volunteers, and alumni can connect, learn, and thrive together.
One of QBC’s strategic objectives is to empower and inspire women through a sustained relationship with QBC. Queen Bee Connect is where we bring together all the opportunities we offer to clients, coaches and volunteers outside of the coaching sessions. Through Queen Bee Connect we want to:
- empower and inspire women through sustained relations with QBC as clients (current and former) coaches and volunteers;
- support QBC to increase the diversity of its clients and coaches through word of mouth and developing the coach pipeline;
- provide opportunities for leadership development and accelerating the impact of women who are working to make change happen across Greater Manchester. This includes delivering activities in partnership with other organisations working to address structural inequalities.
Queen Bee Connect’s guiding principles which inform the design and delivery of the activities are:
- Be feminist, inclusive, welcoming and a place where everyone belongs.
- Encourage connections and conversations.
- Offer opportunities for leadership development.
What are the benefits?
Through Queen Bee Connect our clients, coaches and volunteers will:
- develop their skills and knowledge through regular CPD sessions;
- have the opportunity to increase their networks by connecting with other like-minded women in a safe and inclusive environment;
- receive regular updates via our e-newsletter and WhatsApp Groups about topics and issues which are relevant to coaching and leadership development, including from QBC’s partner organisations.
- have access to online resources including recordings of CPD sessions and recommended reading/listening lists.
How do I get involved?
Once you join QBC as a client, coach or volunteer, you will automatically receive our monthly e-newsletter and email updates. You can then choose to join a WhatsApp Group if you want to receive updates in this format.
